FATBOX is a comprehensive concept for customising the latest generation Harley-Davidson Fat Boy. We developed this design with great respect for the classic look of an iconic model.

Design

The front end, preserved

The Fat Boy has one of the most recognisable front ends ever made. We made an effort to preserve it while emphasising its volume through our own body panels and accessories.

For the rear fender we spared no expense in milled aluminium. The combination of two materials on the fender gives an uncompromising sense of both luxury and ruggedness. The heavy wheel profile is the other signature, so we crafted a range of forged wheels specifically for this project.

Chassis

Console swingarm, air suspension

For the Softail frame we manufacture a console swingarm that lets the full potential of the wheel design be realised. FATBOX uses air suspension, and the 280mm rear tyre accentuates the project’s ruggedness. To compensate for belt offset we developed a special offset for the clutch housing.

Body

Milled from solid, panelled in fibreglass

The basic set of body panels includes rear and front fender, seat, chin fairing and handlebars. The foundation of the rear fender is milled from solid pieces of aluminium; fibreglass is used for the panels. An option for a second passenger is available.

We keep the fuel tank in stock form, which helps the functionality of the motorcycle and maintains its classic look.
