A low, elongated dragster on a frame of our own making.

Giotto Altre is the successor to one of the most popular projects BOX39 has ever built. When the donor for the original Giotto was discontinued, we chose to build our own base rather than end the story.

Design

The proportion, preserved

Giotto Altre follows the traditional forms of its predecessor. We have maintained the beloved proportion of a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear, and the body is crafted with lines that bring the entire volume of the motorcycle together.

The unique rear lighting emphasises the project’s status and a pursuit of balanced minimalism. The image of a low, elongated dragster was shaped deliberately in the creation of our own frame.

Chassis

Built around the wheel

Creating our own chassis let us find a balance between aesthetics and manoeuvrability that comes close to perfection. The 280mm rear tyre gives control comparable to the donor while keeping the presence expected of a motorcycle at this level.

The swingarm design mirrors the Softail generation and, combined with air suspension, delivers genuine comfort. All controls and the instrument panel are retained from the donor.

Body

Fibreglass over milled aluminium

The body is made of fibreglass combined with milled aluminium. We worked the shape carefully to find the balance between design and function — a large fuel tank and a passenger seat make this a companion for real distance, not just a city cruiser.
