Chassis

18 inches, not 17

To accommodate a 280mm wheel we developed a new swingarm housing that reuses all the internals from the original. The system stays highly technological and utilitarian while allowing wheels with a genuinely striking design.

We also moved to an 18-inch diameter in place of 17. It draws an emotional response from the design at a completely different level. Numerous carbon fibre elements preserve the motorcycle’s weight characteristics.

Body

Milled from solid

The Piombo-X body is our pride. Every element is milled from aluminium to achieve perfect lines and assembly. We manufactured the rear of the frame completely in order to get the rear fender shape we wanted.

Room for a second passenger, combined with the handling, makes Piombo-X an everyday motorcycle as much as an object.
